High upon the South Downs at Firle beacon . The less trodden paths of the access land allow the wild flowers to adorn the steep slopes that overlook the beautiful  Sussex countryside. Acrylic on canvas 24" x 20"

Spring sees the countryside become adorned with the wonderful blossom of the Hawthorn and Cow Parsley . Here at Sompting (Sussex) the white chalk track seems to go on forever towards Cissbury Ring, complementing the scenery as it heads off in the distance on the South Downs .
