Back in the Autumn I received an e mail about one of my paintings from 11 years ago ! That was certainly a surprise! It depicted a scene from a ploughing match that I went to in Surrey. 

I've been to several of these events over the past few years (run by the East Sussex Ploughing Match society ) and as the weather's been rather too wet for walking, I thought it would be a good subject to return to and end the year with  . The Shire Horses always look so splendid !
